Shyamalee has recently acquired a permanent Staff Specialist position as a Nephrologist at Calvary Public Hospital with a fortnightly public Renal Clinic.

She has a public weekly Obstetric Medicine Clinic at Canberra Hospital via the Fetal Medicine Unit and assists with a consultation service to both the Canberra Hospital Obstetric team and now the Calvary Obstetrics team.

She is a recent addition to Canberra having trained in Sydney and Newcastle. Her experience includes training at major metropolitan tertiary hospitals such as Royal North Shore Hospital, Prince of Wales, St George and John Hunter Hospital. She also completed a research fellowship in Obstetric Medicine at St George Hospital on pre-eclampsia and blood pressure disorders of pregnancy.

Shyamalee has admitting rights to Calvary Bruce Private, National Capital Private and Calvary John James Private with recent addition of admitting rights to the Fresenius Yorke Dialysis Centre at Deakin. Shyamalee is accepting new patients and is very happy to admit patients for private hospital admissions for both nephrology and general medicine purposes.

Shyamalee has recently commenced at Access Nephrology with a weekly session hoping to increase this to bi-weekly with a further focus on Nephrology.
