Dr. Justin Chan is a Specialist Nephrologist based in Canberra. He obtained his medical degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway and undertook internal medicine training in the Irish healthcare system prior to moving to Australia.
He completed postgraduate nephrology training (FRACP) in the ACT and NSW, with Kidney Transplant training at Westmead Hospital.
Dr Chan is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physician, and member of nephrology organizations including the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology and International Society of Nephrology.
He has interests in autoimmune kidney diseases and personalised medicine and conducts research at the John Curtin School of Medical Research/Australian National University, studying novel approaches in understanding autoimmune kidney diseases.
